In a groundbreaking move to empower Nigerian youth, INGRYD Academy, in partnership with Sadiq Rabiu, has launched an ambitious initiative to train 1,000,000 young Nigerians in tech-related skills over the next five years. This program is designed to equip participants with the technical expertise needed to thrive in today’s digital economy, enhancing their employability and global competitiveness.
Since its inception, INGRYD Academy, under the leadership of founder Khadijat Abdulkadir, has successfully trained over 10,000 individuals, with nearly 5,000 graduates making significant contributions across various industries. This new partnership marks a significant expansion of its mission, offering high-value training programs worth millions of dollars over a four-month period.
Key Highlights of the Initiative:
Target Audience: Young Nigerians, particularly tech enthusiasts and mid-level professionals seeking to upskill or transition into high-demand tech roles.
- Duration: Four months (initial phase)
- Format: Hybrid (virtual and physical classes)
- Locations: Accessible nationwide, with potential physical hubs in Lagos.
Curriculum Overview:
The training programs will cover a wide range of in-demand skills, including:
- Programming: Full Stack Development (Java, C#, Node.js)
- Cybersecurity: Protecting digital systems and networks
- Data Science: Data analysis, machine learning, and big data management
- Other Technical Skills: Linux administration, cloud computing, and software quality assurance
- Soft Skills: Project management, Agile methodologies, and career readiness (resume building, interview preparation)

- Intensive Learning Phase: 200-300 hours of instructor-led training, emphasizing hands-on experience through live projects.
- Internship Opportunities: Paid internships to apply skills in real-world settings.
- Certification: Participants will receive certificates upon completion.
