Job Description

The Medical Officer will provide exceptional inpatient and outpatient care, collaborate with consultants on diagnosis and treatment plans, and ensure accurate health documentation for patients.  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical care under the supervision of senior medical staff and consultants.  
• Analyze test results, medical records, and patient symptoms to diagnose complex conditions, referring patients to specialists as needed.  
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions, ensuring documentation is legible, signed, and dated.  
• Contribute to case planning, including pre-admission, in-hospital care, and discharge processes.  
• Arrange investigations, prescribe treatments, and manage patient discharges as directed by senior staff.  
• Participate in "on-call" duties and shift rosters as required.  

Job Requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine by the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria.  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).  
• 1–3 years of experience as a Medical Officer.  
• Proficient in General Medicine and related medical practices.  
• Strong active listening, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.  
• Excellent communication abilities and empathetic bedside manners.
