Role Overview

The UNFPA Nigeria Country Office (CO) is committed to improving sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, advocating for reproductive rights, and reducing maternal mortality rates. The selected Programme Specialists will be responsible for coordinating UNFPA's SRH initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of projects, and providing both technical and programmatic assistance.

In collaboration with UN agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), federal and state governments, and local communities, the Programme Specialists will work to enhance access to quality healthcare services. They will report directly to the SRH Programme Coordinator and contribute to national and subnational health system strengthening efforts.
