Reminder: The following are the only qualifications required for employment in Nigeria, as stipulated by law, effective from 2021.

According to the law, only certificates obtained from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) are eligible for jobs in Nigeria. These qualifications include:

- National Diploma (ND)

- Higher National Diploma (HND)

- Bachelor of Science (BSc)

- Master of Science (MSc)

- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

If anyone denies you a job despite having these qualifications, show them a copy of the relevant circular. If they still refuse, do not waste your time. You have the right to sue them in court for violating federal government laws.
