The Women Techsters Fellowship is a fully funded, one-year program aimed at equipping African women aged 16 to 40 with sought-after technology skills. This initiative is dedicated to bridging the gender divide in the tech industry by creating pathways for women to excel in tech-based careers.
Program Structure
The fellowship is divided into two key phases:
First Six Months:
Participants will engage in intensive, hands-on training, combining technical skills with vital soft skills to ensure they are fully prepared for the professional world.
Final Six Months:
This phase focuses on real-life experience. Fellows will apply their skills through internships, freelance work, entrepreneurial ventures, volunteering, or mentorship opportunities.

The 2025 edition of the Women Techsters Fellowship offers specializations in the following high-demand tech fields:
- DevOps
- Cybersecurity
- Data Science and Engineering
- Mobile Application Development
- Product Design
- Product Management
- Software Development (Front End and Back End)
- Eligibility Criteria
African women who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
Age: 16 to 40 years
Residency: Must reside in any African country (e.g., Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Ethiopia)
Education: No formal degree is necessary, but basic digital skills will be an advantage.
