Digital learning experience with McKinsey’s Forward Learning Program (Fully-funded with Certificate awarded)

In an ever-evolving job market, the need for adaptable, transferable skills is more crucial than ever. Recognizing this, McKinsey.org has launched the Forward program—a free, multi-week digital learning initiative designed to prepare individuals for the future of work with confidence and clarity.

The Forward program is open to participants in over 130 countries, reaching individuals at all stages of their professional journeys—from those just starting out to those seeking to reskill or pivot careers. With more than tens of thousands of learners enrolled, Forward has become a powerful tool for career growth, skill development, and global networking.

About the Program
At the heart of McKinsey.org’s mission is a commitment to sharing the best of McKinsey’s knowledge to help individuals worldwide succeed. The Forward program embodies this mission through a 10-week, fully virtual learning experience designed to build essential workplace skills.
Core Skills Level
Duration: 10 weeks | Commitment: Approx. 2 hours per week
Participants engage in self-paced, interactive digital courses and live virtual events that focus on the development of essential professional skills:

Adaptability & Resilience: Cultivate mindsets and habits to remain adaptable in times of change.

Problem Solving: Learn to define and prioritize challenges using structured frameworks.

Communicating for Impact: Discover how to tailor communications for diverse audiences to inspire action.

Relationships & Well-being: Strengthen workplace relationships and manage personal well-being.

My Digital Toolkit: Gain digital fluency and create a personalized success strategy in the digital world.

Lead Forward Webinar: Participate in live sessions with McKinsey experts to explore self-leadership and apply learnings in real time.
Upon completion of the Core Skills level, participants receive the McKinsey.org Forward digital badge—a verifiable, shareable credential that signifies their growth and achievement.
Forward applications are open to those who:
- Residing in one of the countries where Forward is available
- Currently employed, self-employed, or in-between jobs with previous formal work experience
- Have less than 5 years of total work experience
or
Have more than 5 years of work experience but have not been responsible at any point for directly managing any colleagues - Completed at least a secondary education / high school degree
- Have a good command of the English language

Participants who complete the Foundation and Advanced level requirements will receive a certificate confirming their completion of the Forward program. After completing the Advanced level, they will also be issued their own personalized digital badge, which is shareable across social media accounts and other digital channels.
Please note that McKinsey is not an accredited education body, and thus participants of the Forward program will not receive an accredited qualification or credential.
