Breast milk gives the gift of a lifetime to an infant. It is called "liquid gold" for the following reasons:

- It protects the baby against infections such as ear infections.
- It is easily digested.

- It gives the baby healthy weight as he/she grows.
- Breastfed babies score higher on IQ tests.
- Breast milk changes constantly to meet the baby's nutrition contents. The milk changes in volume and composition according to the time of day, age of the baby and how frequent the baby takes it, to promote healthy growth.
- Breast milk is the perfect food for your baby. It is available wherever and whenever your baby needs it.
- It is always clean, free, and at the right temperature. No bottles to clean.

- In essence, learn and practice good breastfeeding habit today for your good and for the good of your baby.
