2025 Hajj National Medical Team: Online Application Now Open!
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is thrilled to announce the opening of the online application portal for the 2025 Hajj National Medical Team (NMT). This is a unique opportunity for qualified medical professionals to contribute to the success of the Hajj pilgrimage. Applications are invited from Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Environment/Community Health Officers (CHO/EHO).
Application Portal Details:
The application portal will be accessible via the NAHCON website. Simply navigate to the “Resources” section on the main menu and click on “NMT Application Portal”.

- Opening Date: 8th March 2025, 12:00 AM
- Closing Date: 14th March 2025, 11:59 PM
Guidelines, Terms, and Conditions for Application
Eligibility:
- Only eligible medical personnel are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be in active service at the time of application.
- Applicants must not have served in the Hajj National Medical Team in the last three years (2022, 2023, or 2024).
Age Requirements:
- Doctors: 27 – 60 years
- Pharmacists: 26 – 60 years
- Nurses and Other Professionals: 22 – 60 years
Commitment:
- Successful applicants must be prepared to work for 28 days and remain in Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria.
- Disengagement before the completion of the 28-day duty period is strictly prohibited.
Volunteer Basis:
The 2025 NMT operation is based on volunteerism, in line with international standards as approved by NAHCON management.
Application Integrity:
- All information provided will be thoroughly verified. Any false statements, omissions, or misrepresentations may lead to disqualification.
- This application is free of charge. NAHCON does not require or accept any fees, directly or through agents, for this process.
Guarantor Requirement:
Each application must include an attestation from a credible guarantor. The guarantor must be:
- A career civil servant (not below GL 15),
- A traditional ruler,
- A magistrate, or
- A local government chairman.
The guarantor must have known the applicant for at least 5 years and can vouch for their integrity, capability, and professionalism.
Required Documents:
- Guarantor’s form
- Basic professional certificate
- NYSC certificate (if applicable)
- Current annual professional practicing license
- Profile picture (taken against a white background)
- Applicant’s declaration
- Employer’s clearance letter
Important Notes:
- Filling out the application form does not guarantee eligibility.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted after each stage of the screening process.
- All selected personnel will serve on a voluntary basis and are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and conduct.
