Position Overview

Interns will work at least 250 hours during the summer, with a hybrid schedule based in Washington, D.C., and report directly to the Vice President for Philanthropy. The role is compensated with a $4,000 stipend.

Key Responsibilities

• Process donations and acknowledgment communications
• Support special events and donor engagement efforts
• Conduct research on prospective foundations, corporations, and individual funders
• Utilize tools such as Bonterra CRM and Adobe Marketo
• Assist with donor stewardship strategies
• Participate in special projects aligned with personal interests and goals

Ideal Candidate Profile

Refugees International seeks candidates who bring:

• Enthusiasm for RI’s mission and humanitarian work
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
